Alleged prescription forger chased by police, arrested on Lake Mendota ice

A pharmacist thought something was wrong when a man gave him a prescription for oxycodone, and for good reason: The same man allegedly used the same stolen prescription pad in December to get the narcotic from the pharmacist. Dante Saunders, 21, Beloit, was tentatively charged with forgery, resisting arrest and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud after being chased by police onto the ice of Lake Mendota, the Madison Police Department said in a news release.
