Purse snatched outside Southeast Side gas station

A 59-year-old woman from LaCrosse had her purse snatched Saturday afternoon as she walked into a Southeast Side gas station store. The victim was approaching a PDQ store at the intersection of South Stoughton Road and East Buckeye Road at around 2:50 p.m. when a man who had been loitering nearby grabbed her purse from her arm, according to a news release from the Madison Police Department.
