Metcalfe's Market gets fresh start at new store

Kale and apple salad, Greek angel hair pasta and balsamic vinaigrette couscous salad doesn't just materialize in the Metcalfe's Market deli display case

What used to be done in a cramped, 400-square-foot basement facility below the Metcalfe's Market at the Hilldale Shopping Center is now performed in a 3,000-square-foot commercial commissary at the Far West Side Metcalfe's Market, which over the past year was converted from a Cub Foods.
