Officers catch 60 speeders in 4 hours on East Washington/151

A 55 miles per hour speed limit wasn't enough for five dozen drivers caught speeding on East Washington Avenue/U.S. 151 on Tuesday. The Madison Police Department Traffic Safety Enforcement Team (TEST) set up its radar on Tuesday in the stretch of East Washington Avenue where it becomes a freeway at Interstate 39/90/94. "Two drivers were cited for traveling at a laser-recorded speed of 84 mph in the 55 mph zone," said Sgt. Michael Hanson in a news release on Wednesday. Full Story: Madison.com
