Early morning blaze destroys home in Monona

Fire destroyed a Monona home early Saturday morning, causing an estimated $225,000 damage. The Monona Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 5311 Schluter Road shortly before 1 a.m. The first units on the scene found heavy smoke conditions and crews were able to bring the fire under control by 3:30 a.m. Full Story: Wisconsin State Journal
