Traffic deaths in Wisconsin increased by 6 percent in 2012

For the first time in five years, more than 600 people died in crashes on Wisconsin roads in a calendar year. The state Department of Transportation said in a news release that 601 people were killed on Wisconsin roads in 2012, 36 more than in 2011 and two more than the five-year average. Fewer than 600 people were killed on the state's highways in the years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Full Story: Madison.com
