Verona native found murdered in Austin, Texas

A Verona native was found slain Sunday in her apartment in Austin, Texas, where she had been living for the past three years. Police discovered the body of Cassandra Clark, 26, after a man she apparently had been dating was found in a park with his wrist slashed in an apparent suicide attempt, and later told a social worker he had injured someone in the apartment, the Austin American-Statesman reported.
