UW Hospital buys InnTowner Hotel to house some patients

UW Hospital has bought the Best Western InnTowner Hotel for $14.5 million to house patients from around the region before procedures, during extended treatments and for post-discharge lab tests and education. The stays should ease the transition home for patients who live hours from Madison and reduce hospital readmissions, said UW Hospital CEO Donna Katen-Bahensky. Full Story: Wisconsin State Journal
