Improper disposal of smoking materials caused a fire Thursday afternoon that did $100,000 damage to Ragtock, 329 State St., the Madison Fire Department announced Friday. The fire, which was reported shortly before 3:45 p.m., began in the Ragstock offices on the building’s second floor, Fire Department spokeswoman Bernadette Galvez said in a news release.
