Fire in Sun Prairie duplex displaces two families, causes at least $75K in damage

A fire in a Sun Prairie duplex displaced two families and caused about $75,000 to $100,000 in damage early Sunday. Sun Prairie firefighters were alerted to the fire at 155 Tower Drive at 12:39 a.m. and arrived at 12:43 a.m. Heavy smoke was coming out of the left side of the duplex and all residents had safely left the building when they arrived, according to the Dane County 911 center.
