A fire in a Sun Prairie duplex displaced two families and caused about $75,000 to $100,000 in damage early Sunday.
Sun Prairie firefighters were alerted to the fire at 155 Tower Drive at 12:39 a.m. and arrived at 12:43 a.m. Heavy smoke was coming out of the left side of the duplex and all residents had safely left the building when they arrived, according to the Dane County 911 center. The fire was brought under control by 12:54 a.m.
