Former Jefferson County drug task force supervisor charged with theft, misconduct

A former Jefferson County Sheriff's Department sergeant, who served as the supervisor of the county's drug task force for more than eight years, has been charged with theft and misconduct in office for allegedly claiming expenses that weren't his. Timothy Madson will make his initial court appearance on Jan. 7 in Jefferson County Circuit Court, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Attorney General's Office. Full Story: The Cap Times
