A Madison man was arrested Friday night after he fought with employees at a west side store who saw him trying to engage a teen girl in conversation, Madison police reported.
Sharif Hamzah, 48, was tentatively charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon for the incident that happened at about 10:50 p.m. Friday at Walgreens, 606 S. Whitney Way, police said in a news release.
The 15-year-old girl was shopping when a stranger began "checking me out," she told police.
