Woman jumps in front of car, suffers numerous injuries

A 30-year-old Madison woman known to police for jumping out in front of cars to get rides got a ride of a different sort Sunday night, taking an ambulance to the hospital after being hit by a car she jumped in front of. The unidentified woman suffered a broken arm and possible broken leg plus numerous bumps and bruises in the crash that happened at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 4900 block of Commercial Avenue.
