Survey seeks input from vendors on public market in Madison

As a new vision for a Madison public market takes shape, the city wants to hear from farmers, small-business owners and entrepreneurs interested in locating in a facility. The city is releasing an online vendor survey to learn about possible opportunities and challenges as it refines plans for a market. In a statement, Mayor Paul Soglin said that he knows "the interest customers will have for a market will largely be determined by the produce and products that vendors are able to provide" and that it's "critical to bring interested vendors into the city discussion now."
