State gives final approval to MGE gas rate hike

State regulators gave final approval on Friday to a 3.8 percent rate increase for electricity and a 0.9 percent natural gas rate hike for Madison Gas & Electric, to take effect in 2013. The average residential customer will pay another $4.11 a month for electricity and 65 cents a month more for natural gas. Full Story: Wisconsin State Journal
