A man selling a vintage pair of athletic shoes arranged to meet a buyer Saturday afternoon, but the buyer turned into thief, taking the shoes from the seller at gunpoint.
The armed shoe robbery happened at about 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Trailsway, Madison police said in a news release.
