Rockford man arrested after high-speed chase in Monroe

A Rockford man was arrested Thursday evening after reportedly leading Monroe police on a high-speed chase before abandoning his vehicle and getting caught on foot. Kareem Stewart, 31, was taken to the Green County Jail on an initial charge of knowingly fleeing an officer, a Monroe Police Department news release stated. Full Story: The Cap Times
