Robber flees pharmacy before getting drugs, police say

A masked man trying to rob an east side pharmacy Monday left the store empty-handed. The attempted robbery was reported at 11:36 a.m. at Walgreen's, 4518 Cottage Grove Road, Madison police said in a news release.
