Nearly 200 rally at Monona Wal-Mart as part of national protest over employment practices

About 175 to 200 protesters rallied outside — and inside — the Wal-Mart Supercenter store in Monona on Friday morning, calling for more rights for employees of the giant Arkansas retail company. The local action, part of a national day of protest against Wal-Mart, was organized by the Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice with support from the South Central Federation of Labor.
