Metcalfe's Market grand opening Saturday for former Cub Foods store

A year to the date after starting a renovation, Metcalfe’s Market will celebrate its grand opening Saturday in what for years had been a Cub Foods store on the Far West Side. Metcalfe’s, which also has a store at the Hilldale Shopping Center and one in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa, has spent the last year transforming the 67,000-square-foot space at 7455 Mineral Point Road, near West Towne Mall into a store that features soft lighting, scores of locally sourced products and a massive deli.
