Man robbed, had gun pointed at him while chasing robber, police say

A Madison man called police on Saturday after claiming a friend just robbed him and another man pointed a gun at him while he was chasing the robber. The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of University Avenue, the Madison Police Department said in a news release.
