Man pleads not guilty to charges stemming from June shootings on University Avenue

Appearing in court in Madison on Friday for only the second time since his June arrest in the Chicago area, a man who allegedly wounded three people outside two Downtown bars entered not guilty pleas to reckless endangerment charges. Darrion D. "Thunny" Brown, 21, of Madison, was returned to Dane County and made an initial appearance in court on Dec. 5. He is charged with three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment for allegedly firing shots that wounded three people in a crowd in the 600 block of University Avenue on May 19.
