Man accused of attacking Montee Ball makes plea deal with prosecutors

One of three men charged with allegedly attacking University of Wisconsin running back Montee Ball in August has reached a deal with prosecutors. Wendell Venerable, 21, of Madison, who is charged with substantial battery for the alleged Aug. 1 attack, is scheduled for a plea hearing on Dec. 17.
