The city is asking for new project ideas for the 800 block of East Washington Avenue that Mayor Paul Soglin believes still has the potential for exciting development opportunities.
Soglin released a request for proposals Friday for the vacant lot that has drawn previous interest from developers, although none has moved beyond the initial planning stages. The site was the home of the Don Miller car dealership before it was purchased by the city for $5.8 million in 2010.
