Jefferson man charged with December 2011 sexual assault

A Jefferson man was charged Tuesday with the sexual assault last year of a woman whom he had picked up to give a ride. The assault allegedly happened on Dec. 3, 2011, after the woman was picked up on West Badger Road, then driven behind a business about two miles away on Highway MM in Fitchburg.
