Girl, 16, arrested for allegedly stabbing mother

A 16-year-old Madison girl was arrested Monday night for allegedly stabbing her mother with a butcher knife. The teen was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center on tentative charges of second-degree reckless endangerment and intimidation of a victim, Madison police said in a news release.
