Gas prices spike 14 cents a gallon in a day at many stations

Gasoline prices could be on the way back up — at least for a while. The price of regular gas jumped about 14 cents a gallon overnight Thursday at many Madison area gas stations. While a number of stations, primarily on the east side, remained at $3.15 a gallon, many others boosted their price to $3.29 by Thursday afternoon, according to MadisonGasPrices.com.
