A Dane County prosecutor who failed to turn over evidence that was requested of him during a case involving a driver who struck and killed a German tourist nearly 10 years ago has been issued a public reprimand by the state's lawyer regulation authority.
The reprimand, the second disciplinary action issued against Dane County Assistant District Attorney Paul Humphrey this year, involved his failure to turn over videotapes of police speed trials at the Downtown intersection where Grete Merz, 67, was killed on July 18, 2003.
