An armed man robbed an east side convenience store Monday night, getting away with cash but without the cigarettes he also demanded, Madison police reported.
The suspect displayed a handgun in the robbery about 10:50 p.m. at Kelley Williamson Mobil, 3859 E. Washington Ave., police said in a news release.
