Gas prices see early springtime surge thanks to oil speculators

Typically, gasoline prices tend to rise along with the springtime temperatures in these parts. This year, gas prices have jumped the gun. Prices in Madison have increased an average of 13 cents a gallon, with the price at many stations rising from $3.29 to $3.49 in the past week. Full Story: Wisconsin State Journal

This is such BS - seems like if someone said the wind blowing from the east was a reason to raise the prices they would do it.
It has gotten really far out of hand. This country needs to seriously look at alternatives and our government needs to do something about this junk!

Yep, seem as though any reason they can conger up will make the prices jump at the pump. sad!
